Scholarships
Financial aid that doesn't need to be repaid — let us help you find it.
What is a scholarship?
A scholarship is an award of financial aid that helps a student further their education. Scholarships are awarded on criteria that reflect the values and purposes of the donor — and unlike loans, scholarship funds never need to be repaid.
Awards vary enormously: some cover a modest part of tuition, while others cover tuition, housing, meals and even travel in full. DTS helps you identify every award you're eligible for and builds funding into your application strategy from day one.
Types of scholarships
Merit-based
Awarded for academic performance, athletic prowess, artistic talent or extracurricular achievement.
Student-specific
For applicants of a particular gender, ethnicity, religion or background; qualifications vary by award.
Need-based
Grants that help meet college expenses, assessed purely on the income and assets of the student and family.
Programme & career-based
Offered by individual programmes and institutions, based on academic profile and personal accomplishments.
